Roentgenographic Studies on the Development of Mandibular Permanent third Molars in Korean

Abstract
|
|
|
The author obtained the following. results through the studies on 1,228 roentgenographs of lower bilateral third molar regions of Korean youth;
1. The rate of :presence, of lower third molars was 75.3 per cent.
2. The period that crowns of mandibular third molars become completed was 17.0 years.
3. The period that roots of mandibular third molars become full length, was .22..1 years.
4. The period that apical closure of mandibular third molars become completed was over 26 years.
